I was just readin around on the forum and I saw that GNC is a rip off. I know GNC is a rip off for creatine and stuff (they almost charge 2X the price if you buy it from like bodybuilding.com) but anywho. GNC sells 6lbs of 100%whey protein for like $30. Is this really a rip off? Could I see better results with a different brand? Would it really be worth it to switch to a diff. brand of whey protein? Any suggestions as to which brands are good and prices? Thanks

6lbs for 30 isnt THAT bad, but you can get everything cheaper on the net.

i know everyone hates gnc, but... i personally like it, for acouple reasons, i find all the stores around where i live are the same or more in price, if u need protein that day, and u order it on the net ts gonna take acouple days to get here, also after u pay shipping and handling, its almsotthe same price, i presonally like gnc, they have a pretty good seletion of supps. thats my 2 cents

yea ive had a gold card for who knows how many years.... but the GNC protein is a decent protein and its not just cheap shit with tons of fillers in it ?

if you dont want to get whey off of the internet - Walmart (yeah I said it) carries this new stuff now. Its Made by six star.

74% protein(20 g protein per scoop - 27g scoop)
I has creatine, glutamine alpha-ketoglutarate, glutamine Peptides, l-glutamine,l-leucine, l-valine, and l-isoleucine.

its 10 bucks for 2 lbs of it.

it mixes very easy and tastes pretty good if you slam it ;)

protein in grams divided by total size of scoop. That gives you percentage.

bro u can go on ebay and get 25 lbs or all the whey protein its like optium nutr whey exact same ingrediants and taste. i mean cheap ass protien some times jsut tastes dirty

Gnc protein isnt that expensive with a discount BUT: IT TASTES AWFUL, normally i can take a nasty shake and chug it, but GNC strawberry tastes like rotten Pepto Bismol, seriously. Gross.
