Ok, I'm gonna lay out my meal plan now and perhaps what I plan for in the up coming weeks, as I am anticipating some new "supps". 1. 8am 10oz skim, 2-3 scoops protein, and either a bagel and banana, or 1/2 cup wheat pasta, or 1/2 cup oatmeal w/ 4oz skim. (I like to keep my options open for certain meals.) 2. 10am Pre-workout meal 2 boxes of raisins, 1 cup yogurt (10g pro, 107g carb) 3. 12pm Post-meal 10 oz skim, 2-3 scoops pro, some combo of fast burning carbs to equal 100-110 grams. (yogurt, white bread, white rice, white potatoe, gatorade (usually after legs), etc.) 4. 2pm 1 can tuna or 1 chicken breast or 1 turkey burger, 2 waffles and 1 large wheat pretzel 5. 4:30-5:00pm 10oz skim, 2-3 scoops pro, 4 slices wheat bread (17g p/slice) 2-3 tbsp peanut butter 6. 7:00-8:00pm tuna, turkey burger or chicken, 1 apple or banana, 1 cup oatmeal w/ 4 oz skim 7. 10-11pm 10 oz. skim, 2-3 scoop pro, 1-2 slices of wheat or 1/2 cup wheat pasta or small to medium sweet potatoe My plan is to add a meal at 6:00am in the form of a protein shake and some sort of slow burning carbs. The 8:00am meal will probably be a steak of some sort. Also, I might start having fewer calories with my shakes so I can eat sooner afterward. Perhaps an hour to 1-1/2. stats: 27, 5'10'', 199lbs, and not sure of bf% at the moment. Lil fat at love handles, but abs still visible and striations are apparent (maybe 11-13%) Let me know what ya guys think. Any advice is surely welcome.

Thanks....I'll keep that in mind. The natural fruit stand that I go to is opening in mid March, so that won't be an issue after they open! Thanks Jimbo

areu try to gain or lose weight, are u a hardgainer or easy gainer..?
posted by stnspn_44
I don't believe in hardgainers any more. I believe that there is a right combination for everyone. I'm trying to gain, so I'm adding more calories every week. Last week I noticed that I had added to much, so I'm going to wait a week or so before adding some more. So far, I've added a few pounds with this diet, and the strength gains have been substantial.

yea, jsut try and keep away from premade weight gainer, make ur own if ur gonna take them, cause all the carbs in them 99% arent good for yea man

i dont think ur eating enough if you really wanna gain. It seems like you might be a little soft, so if i were you, i would be hitting cardio right when i wake up to lose the current fat you have, hit the weights real heavy to put on new mass, and eat a shit ton of food.

what are you talking about? 99% not good?

most contian simple carbs some people think thatr that makes em bad for you I personally do not like weight gainers tried em once was bloated all the time felt like crap.. the one i tired was by Max Muscle a company in Cali.. I think they were local cause I only ever saw then in the Bay area but simple carbs ae not necessarily a bad thing it all dpends on your goals you will get fatter easier eating alot of simple carbs than complex carbs but that is also dependent on how your body reacts to carbs and if ur pre-disposed to adding fat easily.
