Should I be aware of how much sodium the food I'm eating has in it. Reason is because I'm eating these chicken breast patties that have about 500 mg of sodium in each. I eat at least 4 a day.

Are there any affects of eating too much sodium that I should be aware of?

I eat that as well. The breaded patties are just what I snack on basically when I am short on time throughout the day. I eat skinless fresh chicken breast for dinner usually.

Those are terrible. Most of the cals come from fat and theres only like 10g of protein cause theyre pieces and parts, not breast. a skinless, boneless 6oz chicken breast has 50g protein. thats 5x as much!

ewww...parts?

what about 370 mg per serving of sodium in beef jerky i eat 4 servings a day 4 onces total but its got 48g of protein total is that to much sodium a day

I see what you're saying. They got 16 g's of protein and are so easy to make and eat. I am bulking so the fat doesn't really bother me.

Is it possible to just buy skinless, boneless chicken breast pieces at the supermarket? I know dumb question, I don't do the grocery shopping.

yes. I buy em in frozen 10lb bags. Or you can get em fresh. Chicken breast can be ****ing expensive. I try to buy em on sale and stock up. $1.79lb is about the best ive ever seen around here. I hear costco has a 50lb bag for $50. if thats true thats a hell of a deal. Normally boneless skinless chicken breast is like $4lb. You can see how that would add up fast!

i buy it frozen sometimes but i like to get it fresh. i cut off the fat before i cook it, weigh it, and sometimes maranade it in Jack Daniels maranade. yummy

I'll have to stock up and by them in bulk then obviously since I don't have the money to be buying them daily.

Do you bake or bbq 'em? Imagine they take 45 mins to cook?

broil em. about 18-20 minutes. a little faster on the grill. or chop it up and cook it in a pan. just take 5 minutes or so that way.
