| well i've been reading this forum a lot lately and i've read most of the interesting articles, and for people who are looking for a faster way to recover from lifting, i think i may have come up with a good idea...tell me what you think about it 1 hour before going to sleep, drink your creatine & water mixture [5g recommended] 30 minutes before you go to sleep make a protein shake with milk, whey protein mix, and peanut butter [add other things if u want] and 3rd, go to sleep it's combining the concepts that creatine helps initiate protein synthesis, the fact that peanut butter slows down digestion of protein to last throughout the whole night, and 3rd that recovery over night is a lot quicker and more efficient then during the day tell me what you think about this idea, and try it out and see if it works for you, i'm just starting the idea i'll post in a week or 2 how effective it is |

| You could take it a step further by intaking protein during the night as well, I have heard of that, but to jeopardize sleep might put you back at square 1! Eating properly and enough during waking hours should be enough, that nightime routine wouldn't last long bro. |
