| I was wondering how to take my pulse. Reason-- If you take your pulse in the morning and it is higher than normal upon waking, it is a SIGN that you are overtraining. I called my doctor because I started a new routine and dropped like 3 lbs in a week and a half, my max (bench) went up like 10lbs so I know I got stronger.:thumbs: then the other thing is, what should my pulse normally be?? or how do I figure it out, I know this is probably one of those things where it will differ from one to another. I didnt ask my doc this when I was on the phone with him because I didnt want to keep him on the phone too long, proly got insurance companys to fight with! any help would really be appreciated!! My stats: 5%BF 198lbs 73in Bench:295 Squat:420 Supplements: Fish oil, multi, glutamine, creatine, BCAA's |

| I know this isn't question related, but 5% bf? I call bullshit no offense, unless you are really close to a show. Are you trying to lose weight? As for the question generally speaking the lower the resting heart rate the better, to an extent. If it's too low, it can drop your blood pressure and you can pass out. |

| I dont think youre lying, theres no reason to. I think youre just mistaken. I doubt if theres anyone on this forum right now thats at 5%. Thats contest lean right there with every vein in your body stickin out. |

| post a picture... or you could post a copy of a document from getting it tested. I know when I get my bf tested hydrostatically, they email me a report listing the temp, predicted residual lung volume, date of test, formula used, height, dry weight, etc.... |

| 5% is no joke youre right, come chill in iraq with me, its hot! cant eat enough to really keep my weight any higher, im maintaining my body weight now, medic saw me after i dropped 10 lbs in 2 weeks said, with my height weight, skinfold about 5%. it dosent matter anyways, my real question got answered the day that i made this thread. its so hot here it hard to eat during the day, plus my companys always on the move. mre's suck! |
