Is it a big no no to eat right before going to bed? Or to get up in the middle of the night and eat?

it's a big yes yes for me depends what your goals are

same its a big yes yes for me to. I eat at night right before i go to bed and drink a protein shake so my body still recovers and grows while i am sleeping. It sucks not to eat for 8-11 straight hours.

I'll either eat a chicken breast before bed or a shake and then keep a shake container with powder in it in the washroom incase I wake up in the night.

I sometimes keep a whole turkey in my bathroom and periodically snack on it when I wake up to go to the bathroom at night.

depends on your goals. if you're trying to cut i wouldnt have any carbs before bed. just some meat. mainly to stay anabolic without puting energy into your body that you cant use. if your bulking then eat as much as you want, when you want!

Just dont marry one and youll be right. I eat scrambled whole eggs before bed. The idea being no carbs and the fat slows down the absorption so you get slow release protein and calories through out the night. I also keep a protein drink with a whole egg in the fridge too in case I get hungry, and if I don't it means I have something as soon as I get up.

same here...i usually eat eggs before i go to bed and some natural p.b or sometimes chicken breast.always a 50g blended protein drink(met-rx). most times i get up during the night at like 3 or 4 to take a leak so i mix another drink.

Meat and eggs, I have a little bit more fat at my last meal to keep it in my system longer. Fred Hatfield used to recommend whole eggs before bed.

i have a casein shake with olive oil...

I have never been able to decide whether fat at night is good or bad. Slows digestion (good), too calorie dense (bad). What's you're thinking on the oil at night?

I always eat something or take a shake before bed, I love to eat. Honestly, I usually have some steak and veggies or maybe a piece of bread and peanut butter but I always try and cutt my carbs off between 3-5pm.

i always eat some cookie dough ice cream. that way i get some casein along with some good fats to slow down digestion. making great results
