| Ok...when you guys give the advice to EAT to get big, you mean eat as much as you can without worring about calories as long as it is clean foods? |

| Yup, that's exactly what they mean. I used to feed my ex husband (a bb'r) more chicken, veggies and eggs than he thought he could get into himself between waking and sleep, and even then he would eat in the middle of the night if he woke up.....eat clean til you feel like you're gonna puke, breathe for a minute, then eat some more . |

| How then does one get big and yet still have muscle definition? Im just worried that if i eat too much i'll gain a lot of extra that will go straight to my midsection even though i do cardio for 20 min 3times a week.Thanks for the reply btw |

| IMO its alot easier to lose than gain. Sometimes you have to lose the definition to gain muscle. |

| BBing is cyclical...you don't try to get big and get def at the same time if you want the best of both. The best way to get both is to put on as much mass as you possibly can, the bulking phase, cleanly, and then drop back into a cutting phase, dropping your bf% and gaining definition while maintaining the majority of the muscle that you put on in your bulk. Yes, you may get a bit of a belly, most guys do, but if you just focus on your lifting you can worry about that later. If you read the posts on bulking phases, you'll find a lot of these fellas don't even worry about cardio when they're trying to put on mass. |

| i dont see the point of cuttin unless ur doing a show. Ur taking 2 steps forward and 1 step back. DUMB DUMB DUMB. You dont have to turn into a big blubbery blob, but if u dont have a 6 pack its ok. |

| thats how two of my buddies that i always lift with are...they are trying to gain size but they want to have a six pack. and when we lift and im makin the size and strength gains they get jelous and ask me if i am takin anything yet.they dont believe me when i tell ppl all i do is eat and lift heavy..thats where my gains come from.ppl are stupid! |

| i heard that if you want to gain weight, ya you simply have to eat more, but you don't have to stuff your face all day long. you should just have a bigger breakfast with lots of carbs and protien becuase your body is craving nutrients when you wake up after sleeping. And for sure get more calories into your postworkout meal, mostly high-glycemic carbs and about 40-60 grmas protien. the rest of your meals for the rest of the day should be mostly protien. |

| mostly protein? carbs make you grow not protein alone. my carb intake is higher than my protein intake |
