I am 5'10" about 240lbs. I used to eat alot of fast food and soda, but have cut that completely out over the past month. I work out in the gym 5 times a week and play hockey on Sundays. For the workouts, I'm doing about 20 minutes of cardio and about 30 minutes of weight training. The last time I went on this diet, over 10 weeks I lost 1 lb and 1% body fat. My diet consists mainly of eggs, grilled chicked, brown rice, wheat pasta, raw almonds and skim milk. Is there anything I should be doing? I have not weighed myself since I started the diet a month ago in fear that I will have not lost anything again. How patient should I be to start seeing descent results?

first off what are your goals?? from what it looks like you wanna lose weight but how much?? next post your daily diet like meal 1, meal 2 and so on. as for the training i think 5 days a week of weight training plus cardio on the same days is overtraining. try lifting 3 days a week and really work on the cardio. do cardio in between the days of lifting and if your gonna do it on lifting days do it earlier and give yourself a couple hours of rest before lifting

ok u need more protein man. try eating the pasta earlier in the day like after your workout. before your workout try to have a protein shake or something high in protein. also eggs and tuna could be put into your diet

I'll add the eggs and tuna, the only problem with the pasta earlier in the day is that my workouts are at done @ 5:00 in the morning, and I normally only have time to shower and go to work.
