Hey guys im new to this site as you can see. I have no prior experience with dieting and nutrition but I have been reading a TON of information lately and I have decided to change my eating habits. I am about 6 foot 200 lbs. I am not heavy or obese but I have fat that I would really like to get rid of. It has been with me for a while now and I have decided to make a change in my lifestyle. I would like to finally get into really good shape. I am using the 12 week diet plan and workout plan from abcbodybuiling.com. I dont expect to lose everything in 12 weeks but I have used the plan as a guideline. Ok well here is my diet so far:

Meal 1- 4 hard boiled egg whites
1 cup of oatmeal
2 cups of water

Meal 2- Banana
1 cup of water

Meal 3- 2 slices of wheat bread
3 slices of turkey
2 glasses of water

Meal 4- Broiled Chicken Breast
1 cup of brown rice
Bowl of romaine salad
2 glasses of water

Meal 5- Broiled Chicken Breast
1 cup of broccoli
Bowl of romaine salad
2 glasses of water

your diet looks ok id say sub tuna in for the turkey. lunch meat is packed with sodium and maybe throw in a protein shake in the morning

I actually have a ton of tuna here too and I just ran out of turkey lol. Thanks. What is a good snack to have before bed? I keep reading about cottage cheese and yogurt but I hate both of them. Any suggestions?

ehhhh dairy products tend to bloat people try to stay away from em while cutting. a protein shake or casein shake if you have it would be good before bed

i would add an extra meal. what do you eat if ya get hungry

yeah maybe add an extra meal and when u do get hungry drink plenty of water

I usually start drinking water when I start getting hungry. Lately I have been getting a little hungry at night so I have some tuna straight from the can. Is that a good snack for night time?

Also, I usually wake up later in the day and go to bed later at night. Does this have any effect on my diet since I eat my meals on a weird schedule. I usually wake up around 11am and go to bed around 3am. Just wondering.

Really? I thought I should stay away from foods like that when I am trying to lose fat.

BTW, How do you usually eat it and how much?

Is muscle milk any good or do you guys reccomend something else?
