first off, can you tell me the benefits of that preworkout meal? Secondly gatorade doesnt replenish the muscle glycogen because it has fructose in it, which only restore liver glycogen. I would get some dextrose/malto dex and mix it with your shake. Is 3000 cals enough to gain weight for you? I eat pry 3500-4k maintence and i weigh about as much as u.

For that preworkout meal i think you should have a good complex carb source like oatmeal and a quick protein source like whey in water. For the post workout shake just add some dextrose like pfad said. As for the rest of the day, i think youre relying a little too much on shakes. Just make your portions of food bigger. Just my opinion.

Yeah your not getting any energy out of your pre-workout meal. add some of that whey to your oatmeal, or even have a trio-plex bar or a protien bar with some quality carbs before you workout

2000 calories keeps me at the same weight so 3000 will have to make me grow.for some reason i grow(muscle and fat) on lower calories than most people.dont know why.the preworkout meal has post whole bran cereal which has over 50 grams of complex carbs but i also just started adding oatmeal in there also.the whey shakes are in addition to whole food protein such as chicken and beef.i am getting alot of protein from whole foods also
