I've seen many of you talk about egg whites in the morning but what does it all mean? I get that you throw the yellow bits away BUT

1) How many egg whites (I'm 5ft 8 70kg)
2) you mean RAW egg whites?
3) How do I eat them? Just DRINK them??? Like Rocky?

Thanks for the Eggs-cellent answers in advance

You can boil them and eat them or you can eat them straight - the chances of salmonella are very slim one in 20,000 eggs has it. Each egg white has about 4 grams of protein in it and you ned roughly about 40 grams of protein per meal. You should not look at eggs only for yuor soul source of protein - look at other things as well coz it will take alot of work to eat about 10 eggs whites in a sitting. I have about 3 but then again my diet isn't as fanatical or as strict , dedicated whatever you want to term it as - as the others here.

you hard boil them first then you can throw them in the fridge over night and just peel the whites off and throw the yolk away......there is also egg beaters that come in a carton which you can pour into a bowl and throw in the micro they're easy and fast to make....you can get those at ne grocery store:thumbs:

This was taken off a web site - I am not going to post the link as I am not sure if posting links is allowed - as many sites ban people for doing so.

"The inside of an egg was once considered almost sterile. But, over recent years, the bacterium Salmonella enteritidis (Se) has been found inside a small number of eggs. Scientists estimate that, on average across the U.S., only 1 of every 20,000 eggs might contain the bacteria. So, the likelihood that an egg might contain Se is extremely small – 0.005% (five one-thousandths of one percent). At this rate, if you’re an average consumer, you might encounter a contaminated egg once every 84 years."

Cheers AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!

That's good reading I question the probability but who doesn't?

The protein absorbtion of a raw white is pretty low, like somewhere around 60% lol.
