| I've been calculating what I take in throughout the day and I've noticed that I can take in far more carbs through fruit than I can through whole wheat sources. Is there any advantage to this? In this thread: http://bbforums.com/showthread.php?t=7709 Thoroughbred suggested that I eat fruit closer to my workout. Are simple carbs better for working out? |

| complex carbs digest slower, which will allow you to use them instead of them just turning to fat. It just depends on your body type in my opinion, i have a really fast metabolism and i eat fruit, gatorade, white rich and have no problem with fat. |
