whats up everyone!how often does everyone allow themselves a cheat meal... ive had some rough times lately and i know ive been slackin... i need to dig deep right now and find the motivation...

I'm on keto so carb up can be quite anabolic but besdies that its all mental.. better off without it, it's not doing you any favors.

extreme, what kind of a diet are you on? cheat meals are only really for low carb diets, otherwise cheat as much as you want! What are your goals?

dude if your low in fat eat natty peanut butter for your craving or a pbnj ricecake with whatever jelly you want...Trust me it helps you keep your cool thats why you are having those cravings. Your body is conditioned to seeing the fatty food as sources of fat but YOU choose what fat you put into your body. I say natty peanutbutter, avocados with salsa, plain nuts cashews are BOMB!!! Have a tablespoon of flaxseed oil or something good...Whats your diet? Also, brotha if you are low carbs it is an absolute MUST to have around 2 carb load days a week and I promise you will have more energy and better results and keep size. Do you know what carbs to eat on those day.

no i honestly dont know what carbs to eat when loading and depleting..if i did that would be a great help...ive got my fats and protein down tho

yeah i'm used to it now, been dieting for just over the last month. Being tired and feeling hypo at times are quite normal but I just use MCT oil or caffeine for a boost around training.

If it is motivation you want just do a search on "what motivates you" It has a few pages of various tips on motivation and is the best thread on motivation that this site offers.

i stay strick for 5 days on my chicken breast, tuna, supplements, oatmeal and eggs all week then come saturday i have my pizza and beer and i enjoy it!

can't speak for everyone but when i do that it makes it very difficult to progress ( not to say i never do it). if i stick with it through the weekend i am always so much happier

Thats how i do it too. if i try to stick with it 7 days in a row i hit a plateau much faster and its harder to break through.

plus on the "cheat weekend" i get to carb up and feel immensely strong for the following weeks regiment.

I agree with Bearman I go strict all week and have like 1-2 cheat meals. I'm a little more stricter but I have probably a more severe case if man-arexia....:D lmao!!! Honestly, it is the healthy way to go any way you look at it. I cut my carbs off around noon.

Man-arexia..lol my girlfriend thinks i'm nuts after a cheat weekend when i complain about 'feeling loose around the waistline" i know it goes away by monday morn but still it bothers me. lol........
