| Well, you don't want to gain unwanted fat for basketball. I know that I usually tell people that fat gains are good, but I am not sure your gaol warrants it. Try for 1g of protien per lb of body weight. Canned tuna, chicken, steak and beef, turkey, eggs and low fat cottage cheese are a good place to start along with a protien drink. As far as a routine, There is a full body routine posted in the training forum too. That will be a good one for you. To be honest, you need to let the leg rest until it is totally healed. Start doing pushups, chins and situps until you can get to a gym. |

| You should probably see a physical therapist if you want to get your legs back to strength. I broke my ankle a year ago and was on crutches for 8 weeks. It was hell. Physical therapy is a must, your insurance should cover it, too. They will give you good excersizes, stretches, and routines to do at home and at the gym to get your leg back in shape. I now see that this thread is about 2 months old, lol. |
