| Stats, 23 years old 5'11" 207 lbs about 20% BF maybe a little more My problem: I started working out a few weeks ago hardcore trying to shave pounds as soon as possible. I felt great thought I was doing good but after a few weeks I jumped on the scale and to my suprise not a pound lost. (Note I play Ice hockey 5 days a week and in great condition.) Diet: Breakfast-Kellogs special K (1 1/2 cup) and 8 oz.OJ Snack- dannon yogurt Lunch - Subway 6"turkey sub Snack -8oz On Whey protein with milk Post workout- Chicken strip with On Whey Protein Dinner- large chicken on george forman grill w/ green peas or some other kind of veg. (Note: I dont drink and pop or coffee at all water only and OJ in the morning.) Workout: 30 min on #5 incline on the treadmill at 3.7mph 45 min on weightloss setting on the eliptical Then I do a few things after that I picked up from mens health. Please help I really want to shed these pounds....:banghead: |

| Even lifting weights can work for people trying to lose weight. Other than just the cardio stuff you're doing. Lightweight, and maybe around 8-10 reps. That's what I'd suggest. Seems like you have a pretty good diet. |

| get a cold and you will lose 3kg. Like me i had a cold last week and lost 3kg. now i am trying to get it back. |

| Just a thought... I would add some protein to breakfast like a protein shake with the cereal, lose the yoghurt and have some lean meat like turkey with complex carbs like brown rice, with the subway don't eat any white bread, have the protein shakes with water not milk and I think thats about it off the top of my head. btw with the chicken, avoid thigh try stick to skinless breast. |

| I go to the gym mon - sat for the last few years but as far as the workout I listed above i have been doing it for about 3 weeks |

| :laughing: i was joking Well i dont know because you seem like you are working out very hard and eating low and healthy and still cant lose any pounds and that is weird for me because for me if i dont force feed i lose pounds :banghead: i need to eat alot to mantain and eat crazy to gain weight with the help of a weight gainer. Is it worth looking at metabolism tablets to help you lose weight? Ps. how is my english going? any better? |

| ^^^ You don't need any drugs. Just listen to the tips cosmic gave you about your diet and I would hit the weights with lightweight. |

| Sounds good i'll fix my diet and see what happens im also going to see my doctor to see about my thyroid my family has a long history of this dissorder and it caused weight gain in all there cases.After they got the proper meds for it they lost the weight. But for now im going to start with the diet and go from there. |

| Don;t ever get duramine if you are thinking of a metabolism booster. It will drive you nuts. i know 2 people who were on it - one suffered depresio and paranoia and the other ended up in a psych ward - after years of use. Its banned in some countries. |
