Imo, Trueprotein.com is. You can totally customize your protein and their prices are very good. Plus it has alot of extra amino acids the cheaper stuff doesnt have. Their basic whey is 76% pure and this stuff I was buying at walmart was only 66% which means there were extra carbs and fat and it was the same price! Divide the protein per serving (in grams) by the serving size (usually 30g)and that tells you how pure it is.

most of these guys will recommend trueprotein.com for protein. I go to the vitamin shoppe and pick up optimum nutrition's 100% whey protein. i pay about 30 bucks for 5 lbs which lasts quite a while. its got 24g per serving (1 scoop). IMO i would just read the labels of different ones and see which ones you can tolerate (taste). be careful though cuz some protein (especiall GNC) will appear to have more protein than others but its because you need to use more. For example GNC has a mega whey extreme which boasts 60g per serving, but the serving size is 3 scoops. So compared to ON's stuff, its not as good.

ON is 83% pure

Well quality will vary yes true protein is a great lace ot but if you have a wholesale nutrition store you can get great deals there..Most of your vitamen shops and GNC are rip offs and are notorious in buying bad shpments and selling them..

ISS had a batch of MX-40 where a dye in it cause a greenish look once mixed..My local nutriton store sold it at a huge discount and explained the problem..GNC never droped price or explained anything..Fckn assholes, ISS sold the containers stupid dirt cheap I belive I bought a few for like 10 bucks...

i get my opt whey from the net.go to www.bestpricenutrition.com they sell it much cheaper than vitamin shoppe and a hell lot cheaper than gnc.they deliver in 3-5 days.i get the 10 lb bag.and my rice pudding i get from storm, aftrer he gets it from my ass.LOL

Another web site that I find good prices on is Powernutrition.net. I buy almost everything from there. If it's not on the site, give them a call and they might have it in their store.

As far as the best protein, well, the best protein in the world doesn't mean squat if your timing is wrong. I have seen numerous studies on taking the worse protein (corn) and puting it up against the best (Isopure) and the amount of absorption was only a few % off and the results were very similar in gains.

Unless your dieting VERY strict for a show, almost any whey will do.

i have used the probloc by mhp before. i didn't mind the chocolate flavor at all, in fact it tasted better than the ON im using now. its a blend of whey, supro, and casein protein. it would be ideal for before bed, especially if you workout later in the day. i'm thinking of buying another tub of it cuz i get kinda lazy sometimes and don't feel like cooking up more egg whites before bedtime.

Ran out of whey today. Went to 3 stores cheapest I found ON for was 2lbs of gold standard whey for 17 bucks or 5 lbs for 37. What a freaking rip off. bought 2lbs to get me through and ordered more online, its the only way. :aah:

GNC had their own brand for $27 for 5 lbs of standard whey but I dont trust them never have. I wanna know what store amerfootball is getting ON for $30 :mad:

MM is a MRP. It has a 40/40/20 balance of protein, carbs and fats. This may not be the best thing PWO because fats slow down absorption and will slow down how fast the whey gets to the system. MM is very good as an MRP though.
