| Hi Is taking Fructose with creatine the same as taking Dextrose? thanks |

| Definitely not. Just throw 5g in your pwo shake. But if fo some reason you decide you have to take it with fructose, I doubt it will matter much after a month. Presumably you're gonna try and load it with fructose. That won't be ideal, but creatine is cheap, so I doubt it matters. And it will probably work out ok. Loading is completely optional, after a month your creatine levels will be identical, loading or not. Additionally, where do you think you're going to get that much fructose. Fruit juice is generally not that high in fructose. It's usually sucrose and dextrose (depending on the juice I guess, but grape, apple, and orange aren't particularly high in fructose IIRC). Wilder N, Deivert RG, Hagerman F, Gilders R. The effects of low-dose creatine supplementation versus creatine loading in collegiate football players. J Athl Train. 2001 Jun;36(2):124-129. Edit: Actually, 100% Apple Juice is high in fructose. Its the other two that are more sucrose and glucose. |
