read a few threads on here about stretch marks. any of you use anything that worked well? im using something like Stri Vectin but it seems to get worse on my biceps. getting longer. anyone use something that works? what can i do to prevent?!?!?

cocoa butter to prevent them. I've seen this question so many times on various boards never had anyone say anything works well, most of them are say you can try this and it will fade it a little. Anyway retin a, tanning, laser, and scar reducing stuff is suppose to fade them. Laser I called about they said they do a test spot first to see if it will even work on you that cost 200 bucks.

As long as they're not everywhere and ugly, stretch marks kick ass! They're like battle scars.

I got the same thing. from the armpit stretching to the top of the bicep. Not too long ago I noticed that the damn things are on the back side also, where the armpit meets with the lats. I noticed for myself that the tanner I got, the darker the stretch marks got too. Weird. Guess it means I'm getting too big for my own skin.

You might think about trying emu oil. It's supposed to increase skin synthesis and proliferation, as well as thickening the skin. Check up on it. I've used it anywhere skin needs help for a while and I've seen it do good things. It won't do anything overnight, you've got to continually apply it at least once per day for months religiously before you can expect to see any results at all, but it might work for you. Make sure you keep using topical vitamin E too.

were can u find emu oil? and what part of the emu does it come from?lol

| You can order emu oil online or look for it in stores that carry a wide variety of skin care products and health food stores (sometimes). I live in a little town of 10,000 people in BFE and I found it at a local health food store, so it's not impossible. As far as what part of the emu, I believe it's fat melted from the emu's back. You might even consider mixing it with your topical vitamin E cause emu oil penetrates the skin to a greather degree than almost anything else, so you can mix things with it that you want to get deep down through multiple layers of skin. | I've tryed a few products. With the cream, you have to be consistant with it. One tube of cream/lotion won't vanish your stretch marks for good. Like the said above, you'll always have your stretch marks, but, there are ways like tanning or cocobutter to illiminate the color. The streatch marks across my armpit and chest, took me 3 years for those babies to fade. |

Stretch marks are a part of life. You can get rid of them to a certain point though. You have to break up the scar tissue and signal the skin to fill in. During this time you have to use a lot of Peptide creams. Rosehip is good too. So basically the 2 choices are Laser (Very Expensive), or needling. Needling is either done by a tattoo artist or using a Skin Roller. Easy to find on EBAY. A little pricy but they also have a kit there. Just search under "Scar, Stretch Mark Reducer" They also bring up some creams. Not sure which ones work. I had luck with STRIPEPTIN in combination with the roller. I also heard some good stuff about the STRIVECTIN. Peptides are good too when used with a roller. Search GHK-cu (Copper Peptide). Hmmmm what else can I suggest. Daily exfoliating. My stretch marks are barely noticeable now. The answer is easy. Skin rejuvenation. Inside out.
