Im 20 years old and weight in at a solid 165 pounds. I have been lifting for around 2 years, 1 year hard. It seems that no matter how much i eat, which is ALOT, or how much i lift i am seeing little to no gains. I have decided to go anabolic and see the results, but i'd like the advice of some people who know more then me. So, what would be the right route to go for picking up some muscle mass, target weight is about 180-190. Thanks

Eat! If you are eating 3000 calories ED consistantly with adequate protein and carbs you should gain. Most people say the eat alot and can't gain to put it bluntly are lying. At 165lbs unless you are under 5'5" you are no way near your genetic potential. Not flaming you but you should look at your current diet and routine before you go to AAS and you're still a bit young. Oh and even with AAS if you aren't eating enough you won't gain very much. As well as you will lose it all after if you aren't eating enough. Give us your current diet and routine we'll see what we can do with that first.

I agree with JC. There are basically 4 things you need to look at. 1. Are you getting enough protein. At 165lb you should be getting at least 330g day. 2. Are you eating every 2-3 hours without fail? 3. Are you getting enough cals. For your size probably like JC said 3000 up to 3500. Maybe more. 4. Are you full all the time? If you answered no to any of those then your diet isnt adequate for gaining. You should post up ur diet and routine.

I had the same problem as you. I was eating and eating and eating and was full all the time. But I wasn't eating enough protein and carbs. I suggest getting some protein bars and eating 1 a day. I dont have the time to make steaks, chicken, and what not, so the protein bars came in handy. It's one thing to be eating enough, and another to be eating enough PROTEIN and CARBS. Kinda off topic, I was in the schools gym today and they had a bulletin board posted and one thing said "did you know that most people eat 6000 calories a day?" HAHAHA even us bodybuilders dont eat that much a day. they better check their facts

well if you ate 20 twinkies that would be close to 6000cals lol 3000cals for me is just enough to maintain. i have to eat 4500 to 5000 to see any progress in weight.

and im eating 2300 a day and losing maybe a pound a week. i think at 3000, even though i weigh 245, id gain quickly...2700 would be maintence for me...

There might be a little truth to that. Thinking fast food people how many calories they eat, and soda. When I started to clean up my diet that is what amazed me is how much more food I could eat that was clean food compared to just crap. Alot of calories are consumed in drinks. Not sure if it would be 6000 but still a large quantities. Alot of empty calories.

Not too mention you've only been working out 2 YEARS!!!!! C'mon, do you really think you know what youre doing in the gym much less how to develop your body, well youre WRONG! it takes more than 1 hard year(which means maybe 8 months) of lifting to even figure out the correct form on lifts. Dude, seriously, do whatever you want, but youre going to be just like the other little pussies in the gym that think theyre all swoll because theyre juicing. Not trying to flame you dawg, just trying to bring you down to earth. You have NO IDEA what you are doing yet...My opinion
