is because of some people like this board. people who dont even look like they workout are using gear. I think once ur an adult (18) the decision is yours but gear is supposed to bef or people who paid their dues and we have a bunch of skinny neards doing gear and still look skinny.. Pay your dues in the gym!!

While I agree with you for the most part, that is not at all why steroids get a bad rep. Steroids have a bad rep because they are illegal, immoral, and society thinks they are detrimental to your body no matter what, doesn't matter what age the person is that is taking them.

OMG! I saw a anti-steroid commercial the other day.Its all good cause it targeted teens in sports.

I agree with paying your dues, but the rest makes no sense. So you're saying that THE REASON steroids get a bad wrap is because of skinny kids that say they are taking them, but don't look like it??? That's probably the most ridiculous argument i have ever heard! I also think 18yrs is way too young to take them...

i think hes saying the wrong people are using them, generally people who dont know shit about them and wind up ****ing themselves up more than when they started.

ok, but i still don't think that because someone is skinny, and they say there on aas, it gives them a bad wrap. That's all, i just think joe's argument is a poor one, my opinion...

I think youre both right cuts and hehateme. Pple are scared of what they dont know. And the little bit they do know about it is all wrong cause the irresponsible media sensationalized a couple stories about complete jackasses and tried to blame all their problems on roids. F-ed up!

Where are all the documented cases of liver failures, heart attacks, strokes, suicides, etc. If you ask me these stories are urban myths, with the exception of a couple of cases, and they are not even certain steroids caused them! Where are all the real victims? They only show idiots or reporters/writers on TV talking about how bad they are, WHERE ARE THE REAL VICTIMS! PED's have been around for over 70 years, so that means the "body count" should be in the tens of thousands, right? There are more health benefits from using steroids than harmful ones, at least that is what I get from doing research. Using steroids usually means one is exersizing, eating right and getting the proper amount of rest, that sounds like health benefits to me! Drinking, drugs and smoking and obeisity are the REAL killers in our society today! JMHO.

yea no joke! dont get me started!!! they wont ban alcohol, smoking, and mcdonalds but they'll ban steroids and ephedra! so many deaths a year are related to alcohol and cigs but the government makes money off it. AH

Steroids get a bad rap plain and simple because of underage use. Kids use them without knowing anything about them, and they can also be bad for a body that has not finished growing (under 18) However, Guys like Barry Bonds, Palmerio, etc. steroids can greatly benefit these aging athletes stay competitive. When you approach 40, they can be a wonder drug if used as directed by a doctor, I even read they can improve your eyesight. These guys are not the bad guys the media makes them out to be, but the athletes know that there athletic ability will fade dramatically now that the madia has put juice under the microscope. Steroids should be a legal choice for anyone say over 25 and a seroius crime for anyone under.

hmmm, interesting stand point. i think that would work being legal for 25 and up but kids get alcohol and they get it from the 21 yearolds. so i dont know how well it would work to legalize it. i think when something is "illegal" everyone has an urge to try it. haha thats why the government has considering making some drugs legal.
