I'm new to this site and looking for beginner cycle info. I'm 27 5'7" 165lbs and looking to add some lean muscle. I have always been an athlete and I work out all the time but can't seem to add more muscle or even strength anymore. I am looking for help in all area's from start to finish for a 1st timer. I eat 6 small meals a day at around 500-600 calories per meal and snack on fruits and nuts. My caloric intake is close to 4000 calories a day. I eat 4-5 chicken breasts a day with whole grain pasta or brow or wild rice and fresh veggies. I have 2-3 22g protein muscle milks/day I work out 5 days a weak. I have eggs and oatmeal for breakfast. I have a 24hr on call schedule so my sleep and exact times i eat and work out do vary. I think its time I looked for help. Please Help?

Well I guess I would like to know how long you have been lifting for? .... What about a mass gainer?
One shake a day with your meals may work a bit for gaining you some size, also one don't you try lessening the frequency of your meals but making them larger so you don't burn as much.

I don't know it seems from reading tonnes and tonnes of posts that people always write what they think people want to hear so they won't burn them. If you are doing what you say then you should be gaining.
4000 calories is a large amount for 165.
I weigh around 205 and if I ate that I would gain.
Anyways one mass gainer shake added to the 4000 would bring you to around 5000 try that for a few months.

I take whey protein but i will haveto try a mass gainer. I dont want to get huge i just want to add about 15lbs of lean muscle. I have been lifting since i was 14 and high school lifting was a joke my intensity went up in college and now i feel i workout pretty hard but no longer gain anything i started at 145 in college and have gotten to 165 but i have been here for about 3 years now and i feel like i am struggling to maintain my strength. I really appreaciate your advice. do you think mass gainer will make me bulky looking or keep the tone look with a little more thickness. I will have to try and change my eating plan too. any buddy else have any advice?
