My stats are

5'10", 190lbs, 14-15%bf, turn 23 this year

I have been training naturally for about 3 years now, I think I have reached my peak. My goal is to gain a little more lean muscle, but not so much where I can't play basketball or golf anymore. I would like to be about 200 lbs, w/10 %bf. The bf I can work on later, it is the first cycle I need help with.

I was thinking about test cyp 250mg/wk, for 10 weeks. I think that would give me decent gains without getting super swollen. But if I could avoid the sides, that would be great.

Is EQ good for a first cycle? Say, 300mg/wk for 10wks?

If everyone says Test Cyp is my best bet, then that is what I will do. What dosage is best? Remember, I am not looking to be Arnold.

Also, should I get an estrogen blocker? PCT will probably be Nolva & Clomid.

Please don't flame, I have been searching for at least 6 months now, need advice. Thanks

I would go 500mg/wk cyp. Keep extra Nolva just in case, use only if needed.
Nolva for pct.
You'll probably get a little swollen but it will quickly go away after the cycle. Small price to pay for decent gains imho.

if your diet and trainig program is good then you will be fine running 250mg/week of cypionate. thats it. have nolva on hand during the cycle.. and clomid/nolva for PCT is fine.

whats your diet and training look like presently?

This present moment I am trying to cut up, lose some fat. I eat salads everyday, and alternate lean chicken breast and tuna in those salads. I also drink a couple of Nitrotech protein shakes a day. They have almost zero carbs, and very little fat. I weight train 3 days a week right now, just to maintain size while I am shredding the fat. I do cardio everyday of the week.

When I start Test Cyp, I will go to 7 lean meals per day. I want to keep the fat really low, because I want lean mass. The carbs and protein will be really high though. I don't have planned what I will eat every meal, every day, for 10 weeks, but I have a pretty good idea. Lots of protein shakes, lean chicken breasts, tuna, grilled fish for the protein. As for good carbs with very little fat, I need to go shopping for that. I know bagels are pretty good, whole wheat toast, that kind of thing.

As far as Nolva for PCT, would 40mg/day for 4 weeks be good? Starting 2 weeks after my last shot?

Another couple of questions:

If Test Cyp comes in a 10ml vial, with 250mg/ml, does that mean I could get 10 shots of 250mg? or 5 500mg shots? Just checking on my math/conversions.

Also, do I have to worry about nut shrinkage?

I don't know if you're bulking or cutting, but this diet wouldn't work for me. Since I haven't used steroids, I won't comment to much on them other than to say that Test Cyp seems like a bad choice for a cutting steroid. Sure its anti-catabolic, but it has a several week activation time after injection. Do you plan to diet straight for 14 weeks?

Personally, I can't diet instinctively -- it just doesn't work for me. I've just started a diet, and I took my maintenance calories and reduced by 15%. I allow myself to get another 5% thru HIIT, though I've been sick and have not done HIIT this week yet. Based on my research, this should work, but whether its ideal for me . . . I don't know yet.

Edit: Ok, I think I get it. You're losing fat naturally, then going to go on to gain muscle. My advice pertains only to your present fat loss phase.

Precisely. Right now I am losing fat/maintaining muscle, but when I start my cycle, I want to gain good, lean muscle, not just bulk up.

in theory yes, but like others have talked about, you will have some waste and not all bottles are always full. buy and extra bottle, that way you will be covered...

When your on cycle eat everything in sight. The excess will come off afterwards if there is any.

Yeah, I've been trying that for the last year now, eating literally everyting in sight. I put on pretty good muscle, but pretty good fat too. Now it is getting hard to burn the fat.
