| new to this board. i'm 44, 5' 10" at 188 and 20% bf. i've been training on and off for years but it is just recently that i have the diet and training right. lost 10 pounds in the last few months of bf. i'd like to be 190-200 hard and lean. i've started doing cardio in the mornings on an empty stomach after drinking green tea (to wake up). i take 12 scoops of protein spread 6 times a day and eat small meals of 1-1 ratio of protein to good carbs and a good fat in my shakes. i don't eat meat, only fish and eggs. anyway. i have a friend who is a very experienced trainer and has set up my program and diet. i'm taking Test E at 100mg a week for a 10 week cycle. People have critisized this as basically replacing natural test. with synthetic and that it is not high enough. He has tested this and doesn't feel this is the case and says that it will add an anti catobolic edge without getting into the land of heavy steroid use, cycles and pct. he says with good training and diet, this will be a good edge, nothing freaky. Based on this, i'm not sure how much cardio, and at what intensity, i should be really doing. currently i'm doing eliptical HIT so that i have a good fat burning and cardio workout because i want to increase my heart health and stamina. thanks for considering my post. |
